What is the Worcester County Fair

Fairs are true community events, celebrating the fruits of harvest, handiwork of local artisans and of course, the prowess of farmers in raising crops and livestock of blue-ribbon quality. The Worcester County Fair is steeped in tradition, dating back to its start in 1963. For over 60 years, the fair has been held  and continues to have a strong showing each year.

From the Nature Trails of the Pocomoke Forest to the beaches of Asseteague Island Nature is all around you in Worcester County.

The Work

Farming and agriculture have been a huge part of the history of Worcester County with local communities being a focal point for prosperity and betterment.

The down home feel of the rural communities and the uptown life of busy city streets find a mixture of people in Worcester County from all walks of life.

Biking and fishing, dancing and song, so many things to experience from Worcester County and its many facets.
